This was the first attempt at the end of the 19th century to excavate the Colle di Tenda pass in the Napoleonic era. The undertaking was never concluded, but the entrance to the excavation is located 300 meters from Limone Quota 1400. Heading towards Le Marmotte continue on the road beyond the first ski lifts and take the second bend to the left.
In winter, under certain climatical conditions, you can witness a spectacular sight of ice stalactites and stalagmites.
The ice climbing wall above the Cave will be completed in winter 2022.
